Carbon/ceramic is a new type of ceramic matrix composite, which combines the dual advantages of carbon and ceramics. That is, it has the advantages of carbon materials such as corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and thermal conductivity, while also possessing the high strength, high hardness, and high-temperature oxidation resistance of ceramic materials. It can be used as materials for heating elements, electrodes, heat exchangers, crucibles, bearings, mechanical seals, hot-pressing dies, etc., and is applied in mechanical, electronic, chemical, metallurgical, and aerospace fields.
Specific application fields are as follows:
Diffusion welding heating elements: heating methods include induction heating and resistance heating; long-term service temperature is 600-800℃; it has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity and high hardness. Compared with graphite materials, the per-mold production efficiency is increased by more than double, and the service life is increased by more than twice.
Sintering dies for electronic components: long-term service temperature is 600℃; it has good oxidation resistance, no powder shedding, no contamination to electronic components, and excellent thermal conductivity, dimensional stability, thermal stability, and chemical stability.
Used as high-precision dies: particle size is below 3μm; the structure is dense and uniform; it has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient, long-term service temperature of 600℃, good oxidation resistance, no powder shedding, and is easy to process.
EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) electrode materials: high melting point, excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, good dimensional stability, and ablation resistance.
